For ₹4 more per meal — less than a cup of chai — your family gets oil pressed below 35°C with zero chemicals, zero bleaching, and zero compromise.

5 reasons

What you actually get for that ₹4

1

Pressed below 35°C

Industrial oil is extracted at 90–300°C. Heat destroys fatty acids, antioxidants, and aroma. Bhurasa is cold-pressed in a traditional wooden ghani — nothing is added, nothing is lost.

Industrial oil: 90–300°C + chemical solvents

2

Zero chemicals

Refined oil goes through bleaching, hexane extraction, and deodorising. Bhurasa is unrefined, unfiltered, and contains no additives of any kind.

Refined oil: hexane, bleaching agents, deodorisers

3

Single origin

Every batch of Bhurasa comes from Kathiyawadi groundnuts grown in Agro Zone VI, Jamnagar — alkaline red soil with pH 7.6–9.0 found nowhere else in India. This produces groundnuts with 79–81% oleic acid vs 45–55% in standard varieties.

Standard oil: multi-origin blended, no traceability

4

Batch numbered

Every tin carries a batch number tied to a specific pressing date and harvest. You know exactly when your oil was made.

Standard oil: no pressing date, no batch transparency

5

FSSAI Licensed

Bhurasa is produced and sold under a valid FSSAI license. We meet every food safety standard required for a premium edible oil.

“Why does Bhurasa oil have sediment?”

This is the most common question we get. The sediment is not a defect — it is proof.

Bhurasa — with sediment

Natural sediment contains phospholipids, natural waxes, and trace minerals that are part of the groundnut. They settle at the bottom. Shake gently before use. This is how pure oil behaves.

Refined oil — crystal clear

Refined oil appears clear because bleaching, filtration, and deodorising have stripped everything out — including the natural compounds that make oil nutritious and flavourful.
