The new crop comes in
Groundnut is a monsoon crop in Saurashtra. We wait for this season’s G20 Kathiyawadi groundnut, bought directly from farmers in Jamnagar district.
- 02
The first pressing
The wooden ghani turns slowly and the oil never goes above 35°C. It goes straight into food-grade tins — no bleaching, no deodorising, no filtering.

The waitlist hears first
Everyone on the waitlist gets a message as soon as the first tins are ready to order.
Why wait for the new crop
Oil is only as fresh as the groundnut it is pressed from. Bhurasa has no preservatives, so it is best within 9 months of pressing — which is why every tin carries its pressing date and batch number.
